ACTIVE FOR THE ARTS

Active for the Arts is an NWAA initiative which allows artists, members, family and others to utilize their athletic abilities and interests to directly raise awareness and funds to support the creative activities of the New Wilmington Art Association and its members. Through this unique program the NWAA creates inventive collaborations between artists, athletes, wellness organizations and communities, resulting in exhibitions, public lectures, screenings, education and community outreach.  Active for the Arts promotes an active lifestyle and an investment in the health of the cultural community.

Run, bike, climb, play – Participating is simple. Just do what you already love to do. Tell people about your goals and have them support your efforts – in the studio, on the trail, the field! Learn about the many ways you or your organization can become involved with Active for the Arts by contacting the NWAA @ new.wilmington.art@gmail.com
